What is better – Doing MBA as a fresher or Doing MBA after taking some experience?

MBA becomes today’s necessity to every graduate who works in corporate. There are many options to enroll in this course. There are three four type of courses offered by Institutes and colleges

MBA – Regular  ;MBA- Distance Education ; MBA- Part time; MBA- Online

MBA- Regular is a course which everyone wants to do it but there are some circumstances where a student is not able to do the regular course then what is the option left for him/her.

Answer is – They can enroll themselves in Distance education –MBA or Part time MBA or MBA-Online. Many universities are offering the same and conducting the courses after getting the approval from DCE.

But million dollar question is – What is better Doing MBA after taking some experience or Doing MBA as a fresher.

Answer is- As a fresher, you can only rely on the theoretical aspects of management because you don’t have the experience of actual environment. Regular MBA will give you the bookish knowledge and you can not co-relate the things within a live environment.

But if you enrolled yourself after experience, you can easily understand and co-relate the activities of your organization with the teachings at the classes or written in Books.

My suggestion is – It is better to enroll after getting some experience.

What is BPO and KPO?

BPO is the acronym for Business Process Outsourcing and KPO stands for Knowledge Outsourcing Processing. These two terms are common now and as a layman sometimes we confuse between these two words and understand that both of these are same.

Let me give you an example to tell you the difference between them.  Suppose you are a college student and you have to make a project.  You compile the required information for your project and give it to a person who typed it, formatted it and give it to you as per your requirement.  This is a kind of job which BPO are doing.

Top ten BPOs operating in India are : GENPACT, WNS Global, IBM Daksh, Aditiya Birla Minacs Worldwide, TCS BPO, WIPRO BPO, First Fource, Infosys BPO, HCL BPO, EXL Service Holdings.

The requirement to get job in a BPO is – You must be a graduate with excellent communication skills and computer savvy.

In another case, you have to make a project on a particular subject and you search a man who is expert in that subject and he make the project for you with the help of his expertise and experience.  This is what KPO are doing.

Top ten KPOs operating in India are : GENPACT, Evalueserve, Ugam Solutions, WNS, 24/7 Customer ICICI Onesource, EXL, Copal Partners, Pangea3, Techbooks.
The requirement to get job in a KPO is – You must be expert in your chosen service.

As of now BPOs revenues are much much higher than the KPOs but in near future, KPOs will dominate on this market.

What is test of hypothesis in Statistics?

When there is a decision being made on the basis of experimental data , it is termed as test of hypothesis in statistics. There are two terms assosicated with test of hypothesis – Null hypothesis and Alternative hypothesis.

Null Hypothesis : This hypothesis is denoted by H0 and it is usually a hypothesis that results predicted by chance.
Alternative Hypothesis : This is denoted by H1 and the results are influenced by some non random causes.

Example : Let us suppose we have a coin which is fair and we have to toss it for 20 times. The Null hypothesis is – there is a chance of 50% getting head and 50% getting tails.
Alternative hypothesis is – the percentage of getting head and tails might be different.

Result : When we tossed the coin for 20 times, we found that there are 15 nos. of times, when there is a head and only 5 times, there is tail. So, we have to reject the null hypothesis and accept the Alternative hypothesis.
